Living Waters Ministries India was founded by Rev. Tony Lacy and his wife Jenny. It started as an offshoot of a humanitarian aid trip they made to India in 2005 after Tsunami disaster of December 2004.That single charitable trip has become a rapidly expanding and well organised mission work - LWMI, is a charitable society in India legally registered. LWMI is operating in six major areas; Living Waters Institute of Theology is one among them. Rev. Prince M is serving as the Director and Principal of Living Waters Institute of Theology (LWIT).

This is the highest administrative body consisting of 10 members from India from various professions. Policy decisions are made by this body and they are the sole custodian of the purpose, the vision and the values of LWIT. They meet at least 5 times a year. The meeting is headed by the President & Director. It is an administrative body that executes the strategies to fulfil the purpose and vision of LWIT.
This is an Advisory Body that deals with the issues, proposals and guidelines relating to academic activities. All the faculty members meet once a month to discuss the various concerns of the academic affairs, student's life and activities.

Apart from the Theological Education LWIT imparts Practical training in the Mission Fields as well.

Dear Friends , I am glad you have chosen to consider LWIT as a possible centre to prepare yourself for the call of God. LWIT has been in existence since 2014 and it was specifically founded for the purpose of developing indigenous leadership in the context of Globalisation by understanding the large need of our country, not ignoring the fact that India containing around 18% of the world population.
We have developed our acadeic program to provide appropriate information that will give a comprehensive knowledge to a student in the field of his/her choice of education.But we have not only limited it to as we are committed to the development of the whole leader that includes the building of sills, spiritual formation and, character formation. in order to accomplish this we have uniquely designed our curriculum.
